Fears of Running a Business

I have my share of fears just like many of you. I decided to challenge myself and really dig in to the root of my fears. One in particular is my journey as a woman entrepreneur. It is exciting and fulfilling to live my dream but, it doesn’t necessarily negate my fears of running a successful business. Let me share a few of my fears as an entrepreneur:
• Not meeting other people expectations

  • Not having enough time
  • Not being able to sustain my audience
  • Not having enough money to run a business

What I have realized is that my fear of inadequacies stem from false narratives I’ve told myself.
“I’m not good enough to run a successful business.”

When I CHOOSE to believe these stories, I begin to behave in ways to support that belief. As a result, my business is already at risk of failing.

I’m calling out women who are considering starting a business or who have a small business to share some of their fears and challenges. We will discuss strategies to overcome our fears at my upcoming event on June 23, 2016 at Pink Pump from 6-8 pm. Sign-up and join me to discuss!
